Sue Maree’s love of fashion began as a teenager, creating her sewing projects and launching her first small business at age13 making pin cushions. Her journey has taken her from modelling to a career in banking and accounting before returning to fashion—launching a slow-fashion label, working with personal styling clients, and ultimately becoming a global leader in sustainability education.
Sue served on the Board of an international fashion association, where her pioneering work in sustainability earned a Global Philanthropy Award. Collaborating with governments and fashion festivals, she has shaped campaigns that inspire conscious consumer choices and industry-wide change. Today, as a Global Chair, on a Sustainability Committee in the Fashion Industry, she continues to lead conversations worldwide on sustainability in fashion.
This book invites you to reflect on your own fashion and understand the changes reshaping the industry. Through relatable stories, insider insights, and simple steps, Sue shows how small actions can create big impact.
Whether you’re a fashion professional, educator, sustainability advocate, or simply a style lover, her message is clear. You are part of the change.
