Meet Sue Maree

Global Award-winning educator | Sustainable fashion consultant | Stylist

 

Sue is recognised as one of Australia's leading fashion professionals for advancing the global shift to Fashion Circular Economy through education, collaboration and industry leadership, locally, nationally and globally. Sue spends less time in people’s wardrobes these days as a Fashion Consultant but instead is heavily focussed educating about the rapid changes in the fashion industry, leading an international team, speaking, running her consulting business and providing industry events through Dazzle Business Forums.

Sue currently serves as the Global Chair of the AICI Global Sustainability Committee since 2025 and a member for the 2 years prior. Sue now leads the international team from 8 countries, which educates the Fashion Stylist and Image Consultants of AICI memberships across 32 countries. A former Board Member of the AICI Australia Chapter and recipient of the 2023 AICI Global Philanthropy Award for her contribution, has led to travel, a global profile, and a credible source of education, collaborations and leadership.

A regular participant at the Global Fashion Agenda Summit in Copenhagen, Denmark, the largest gathering of Fashion Industry about sustainability in fashion, a member and attendee of Vogue Global Business Summits an official supporter of Seamless Australia since its inception and AICI Global member since 2018.

Through Dazzle Business Forums, Sue brings together founders, innovators, universities, government and industry leaders to encourage collaboration across the fashion value chain. Through keynote presentations, workshops and international partnerships, she empowers organisations and individuals with practical solutions that support circular fashion, responsible consumption and the future of an improved fashion industry.
